The new MT-G, which features a mid-sized case and a new band attachment structure for improved wearability, is now available in a Color.
The MTG-B1000B-1A4JF features a metal case that is treated with a highly wear-resistant black IP coating, and the in-dial, center case, soft urethane band, etc. are colored red.
The new shock-resistant structure is a "New Core Guard Structure" that combines the lugs that connect the band and the pipes that connect the bezel and back cover to create a wall, forming a box-shaped frame and protecting the module. In addition, carbon fiber reinforced resin is used for the center case that protects the module. This has resulted in a lightweight watch with even greater shock resistance.
The base of the band is made of a combination of highly durable fine resin and metal parts to ensure strength. The case and band are connected by a screw that uses a metal pipe as an axis, and the connection can be rotated to improve fit and prevent the band from loosening, creating a vibration-resistant structure.
In addition, by resizing and reconfiguring the parts of the exterior structure, the MT-G series has achieved its first mid-size watch. Compared to the original MTG-S1000, the case diameter has been downsized by 2.8mm from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock, 1.8mm from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock, and 1.1mm in thickness. The use of this mid-size case and soft urethane band improves the wearability.
The edges of the metal parts that make up the exterior are mirror polished and each surface is hairline processed to pursue the beauty of the finish that is the essence of a watch. In addition, the use of highly transparent sapphire glass and the delicate engraving on the indexes and in-dials made using the fine processing technology of the Casio Yamagata factory further enhance the texture.
In terms of functionality, it is equipped with the "Connected Engine" that supports time correction via Bluetooth® connection. It links with smartphones via Bluetooth® communication function, connects to the dedicated app "G-SHOCK Connected※", and obtains time information from a time server on the Internet. It also has Multiband 6 that supports standard radio waves from six stations around the world, and automatically corrects the time in a compatible area even without connecting to a smartphone. It is possible to display the correct time anywhere in the world.
The new MT-G has evolved even further, featuring an original shock-resistant structure that combines metal and resin, beauty that is the essence of a watch, and a new module that pursues precise timekeeping accuracy.
Smartphone link (automatic time correction four times a day, world time for approximately 300 cities, automatic update of time zone/daylight saving time rules, clock status display (time correction count, solar power generation, time zone/daylight saving time rule updates), user attention display (low charge, battery check, possible magnetic interference), alarm/timer setting, mobile phone search, remaining battery level display)
Multiband 6 receives standard time signals from six stations around the world (two in Japan, China, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany) and automatically corrects the time.
Tough Solar
Dual dial world time that can display the time in two cities simultaneously
Stopwatch
Countdown Timer

High-brightness LED light (Super Illuminator)
※ An application exclusively for G-SHOCK smartphone link models. In cooperation with a smartphone, it connects to the "Connected Engine" that supports Bluetooth® connection for automatic time correction and time settings such as world time, and displays the time reflecting the latest time zone and daylight saving time information around the world. The tough solar power supply realizes solar drive of functions that require a strong load.
