Organic Sannen Bancha is a fragrant, mellow and rich-tasting tea made from tea leaves and stems (from Nara, Miyazaki and Oita prefectures) that are organically grown in the tea fields in the misty mountains of Ujitawara, Kyoto, the main production area of Uji tea. They are then carefully aged and roasted to create an original blend.
This product has been aged to reduce stimulants such as caffeine, so it can be enjoyed by the whole family, from elderly people to children, at any time.
It is delicious boiled or made in a teapot, and can be enjoyed iced on hot summer days to rehydrate, or hot to warm you up in the cold winter, or with pickled plums and soy sauce to warm you up, as Ume-sho Bancha.
