G-SHOCK has continued to evolve with original technology in pursuit of absolute accuracy and relentless toughness. Casio has developed and equipped the new GRAVITYMASTER with a new function that brings together the best of advanced high-density mounting technology and power-saving technology, as well as a new Triple G Resist structure.
We thoroughly pursue the ability to obtain accurate time information and keep time even in any harsh environment in the world. In addition to the time correction function using GPS satellite signals and standard radio wave reception, we have equipped it with a mobile link function using Bluetooth®, giving it another specification for time correction. By implementing three devices in a small space, we have achieved the function of obtaining time information in three ways. The fusion of high-density mounting technology and power-saving technology using Tough Solar has elevated it to the toughness function that G-SHOCK continues to pursue.
The first G-SHOCK to use two rotating disks. One displays the date, the other the day of the week, the mode name when the mode button is pressed, and the longitude*1 when location information is received from GPS satellites. You can visually feel the pleasure of using multiple functions.
By downloading the dedicated application "G-SHOCK Connected" and linking it to a compatible smartphone, you can set various settings of the watch, such as world time, in graphics. In addition, by connecting to the Internet, you can obtain and display the latest time zone and daylight saving time information, improving the operability and basic performance of the watch.
The toughness required of the Gravity Master has also evolved significantly. A magnetic resistant plate is placed inside the module, achieving the magnetic resistance performance (JIS Class 1) required for daily use while maintaining radio wave reception sensitivity. And in TRIPLE G RESIST, the band attachment part has been redesigned and a structure that does not use the screws themselves, which are easily affected by vibration, is adopted. A fine resin shaft cover is attached to the shaft that secures the band, and it is fixed with a fine resin part with a carbon fiber sheet inserted, creating an original vibration-resistant structure. Furthermore, it is equipped with quality that is thoroughly focused on toughness, such as three-dimensional hour markers in a ring shape made by molding resin, a second hand made of carbon fiber, a sapphire glass crystal, and a carbon fiber insert band.
