Yachimanzu Tosa Yuzu Japanese Chocolate, Japanese Fruits, Sawado Sencha, 85g

This product won the 2020 Kochi Delicious Food Award.
Organically grown Umajimura yuzu and domestic honey are painstakingly glazed, and domestic ingredients are used, mainly cacao with a well-balanced flavor, to which flavors unique to Kochi Prefecture (Tosa) are added. The flavors of the ingredients are baked slowly at a low temperature of 120°C so that the high temperature does not damage the flavor of the ingredients, and five different flavors are created.
The outer packaging is also designed with traditional Japanese patterns and kimonos in mind, and carefully selected ingredients are used for the flavors that determine the flavor of the product.
Various ingredients are cooked at low temperature by hand, and almost all of the processes are done without using machines, making this a masterpiece that shines with the skill of the artisan.
Inspired by the texture and flavor of "rakugan," one of the three traditional Japanese sweets, this new type of Japanese chocolate expresses a dissolving texture using chocolate, which is synonymous with Western sweets.
This product uses an abundance of Sawataricha, a famous tea from Kochi, whose leaves are carefully harvested one by one by hand.
Although it is a sencha, it has an elegant, rich and mellow aroma reminiscent of matcha when paired with baked chocolate.
The refreshing sweetness of yuzu simmered in sweet and sour honey and the uniquely Japanese flavor combine with the smooth melt-in-the-mouth chocolate to create "Wa no Kokoro," a gentle and mellow flavor that fills the mouth. Enjoy these Tosa tea sweets, each with a different aftertaste depending on the flavor.
