It is named after the famous Usuzumizakura cherry tree at Saihoji Temple in Matsuyama City, and the white adzuki beans inside are reminiscent of cherry blossom petals dancing in the twilight.
It won the highest honorary grand prize and the Honorary President Takamatsunomiya Prize at the National Confectionery Exposition, and has gained a reputation as one of the most famous confectioneries in the country.
