Agarwood, a wood that has been spoken of in many ancient literary works, including The Tale of Genji.
Since the Edo period, this fragrance has graced Kabuki and Joruri theatre, and can be said to be a representative of traditional Japanese incense. The fragrance varies greatly depending on the place of origin, and you can enjoy a variety of scents, as expressed by the five tastes of pungent (sin), sweet (kan), sour (san), salty (kan), and bitter (ku).
Agarwood
Agarwood is only harvested in limited areas of Southeast Asia, mainly Vietnam.
