■How to Clean Makeup Brushes Pour into a container and dip the brush in the area you want to clean. Wash in a circular motion and rinse thoroughly under running water. After drying with a towel, straighten the bristles and dry thoroughly in the shade. ■How to Clean Sponges Apply an appropriate amount to a dry sponge and scrub the brush with pressure, removing foundation residue. Then rinse thoroughly with cold or lukewarm water, drain well, and dry thoroughly in the shade. *Use the cleaner as is without diluting it.
